1)The area of the top of a rectangular box is 252cm2 ,the area of the front of the box is 105cm2 ,and the suring areaof the box is 834cm2.What's the volume of the box??
2) in the box,there are many wings in it.If we removed two chicken wings at a time , one will be left.removd three at a time , two wings will remain.removed three,four,five or six at a time,then3,4,5wingswill remain.how many wings in the box??

1) Let the top area = ab = 252 and the front area = bc = 105 , then ,the remain face area = ac,
Total surface area = 2(ab + bc + ac)
834 = 2(252 + 105 + ac)
ac = 60
The volume of the box = abc
Since ab bc ac = 252 * 105 * 60
(abc)^2 = 1587600
abc = 1260
The volume of the box = 1260cm^3
2)If we add one wing to the box , then no wings remain when we remove 1
2 3 4 5 or 6 wings , so
the number of wings + 1 = The LCM of 1 2 3 4 5 6 = 60
The number of wings = 59
