✔ 最佳答案
5(x - 2) + 4(x - 8) - (x - 2)
= 5(x) - 5(2) + 4(x) - 4(8) - x + 2
= 5x - 10 + 4x - 32 - x + 2
= 5x + 4x - x - 10 - 32 + 2
= 8x - 40
= 8(x) - 8(5)
= 8(x - 5)

dispensing -a million into x² + 4x + a million, we've: 3x² - 5x + 8 - x² - 4x - a million Combining like phrases supplies: = 3x² - x² - 5x - 4x + 8 - a million = (3 - a million)x² + (-5 - 4)x + 7 = 2x² - 9x + 7 i wish this facilitates!

First expand:
5(x-2)+4(x-8)-(x-2) Also remember that the '-' in front of x-2 is actually -1(x-2)
5x-10+4x-32-x+2
8x-40

Hope it helped :)
