it gets them out of their hair

"get something/someone out of my hair" is an American slang which means: " to stop something/someone from bothering / annoying me".

Therefore, in the sentence "it gets them out of thier hair" , "it" stands for an action or event, "them" stands for the people who are bothering others, and "their" stands for the pople who are being bothered.

Example:

The actors called police to get the paparazzi out of their hair.

It (Baby oil) gets them(tangles長髮的纏結) out of their hair.

It (The shampoo) gets them(smells臭味 ) out of their hair.

It(The fragrant scent) gets them(stinks) out of their hair.
