You don't need to use "IN" in the sentence and the " 's " after contradictory is not necessary. So instead, i would start it like this,
"To me, this year's Chinese new year is a contradictory holiday. It makes me confused to consider the meaning of holiday is being RELAXED or not."

"Because the first semester examination was been pass and my school result has been made great progress in some subject this examination."
I don't really understand the sentence above, so I hope you can explain it to me later. =]
And "WAS BEEN" can never happen in a correct sentence structure.

"So I want to have a relaxation in this holiday."
This sentence is grammatically correct but you probably wouldn't say "you want to have a relaxation".
I would put it like this,
"So I want to relax/rest/ease(some choices for you to choose from so you can avoid using "relax" over and over again) myself in this holiday."
