What are the working principles of the following thermometer?

1. infra-red thermometer
2. rotary thermometer
3. resistance thermometer
4. thermistor thermometer
5. liquid crystal thermometer

I know for (3) and (4) it is related to thye resistance of metal, but can some1 explain it in detail? Why when the temperature is higher, the resistance of (3) will be higher? thank you

1)the infra red radition give out by hot object
2)metal expand when changes in themperature
3)resistance of metal when change in temperature
4)resistance of metal when change in temperature
5)colour change of crystal when change in temperature
