Throughout my childhood till now, many adults have asked me the same question “What do you want to be when you grow up?” which I do not have an exact answer. I did not know my personality and my ability very well before and that was why I was not sure about my choices. However, after doing the assessments from the TDSB’s booklet “who am I?”, it helps me to identify more about myself. I received high scores in the categories of an organizer, helper, and doer and certain characteristics are followed by them. My interests, skills and abilities, personality, and values are listed clearly in the booklet that leads to the occupations which may be suitable for me.

Consequently, my interest, strengths, personality, and values have a great impact of what should I be in the future. My interest of helping others, the strength of organizing events, helpful personality, and the value of certainty directly show me that I should be a teacher when I grow up. I ace most of the requirements of the teachers as being patient, helpful and organize. By doing this activity, it can help me to understand more about myself and guide me to the future career that is best suited for me.
