When 2 identical capacitors are connected in series, the resultant capacitance will be halved according to:C' = C1C2/(C1 + C2)
So (3) is incorrect.
With them being isolated, their charges amount remains unchanged, so (2) is incorrect.
With them connected in series, the p.d. across the combination is the sum of individual p.d.'s, so (1) is correct since each capacitor has the same p.d.
