何謂\”通貨膨脹率\”

通貨膨脹率=inflation is a rise in the general level of prices of goods and services in an economy over a period of time.
When the price level rises, each unit of currency buys fewer goods and
services; consequently, inflation is also an erosion in the purchasing power of money – a loss of real value in the internal medium of exchange and unit of account in the economy. A chief measure of price inflation is the inflation rate, the annualized percentage change in a general price index (normally the Consumer Price Index) over time.

通貨膨脹，簡稱通脹或是通膨，意指整體物價水平相對特定數額貨幣（購買力）持續上升的狀態。與貨幣貶值不同，整體通貨膨脹為特定經濟體內之貨幣價值的下降，而貨幣貶值為貨幣在經濟體間之相對價值的降低。前者影響此貨幣在使用國內的價值，而後者影響此貨幣在國際市場上的價值。兩者之相關性為經濟學上的爭議之一。
