I like the Mariners/Rangers (The one that doesn't win the west) from the AL. The Angels have gotten significantly worse, and the Mariners had a great offseason. I don't like my Red Sox' chance because we have also gotten worse with the loss of Bay. Lackey will be a bust in Fenway and Beltre will be average at best.
In the NL, there are so many different options. I like the Giants with the Mets being close. The Giants almost won the wildcard in 2009, but fell just a little short. Now they added to thier lineup. The Mets will have Reyes all season and now have Bay (who wont have nearly the kind of stats he had in 09). Other teams you have to think about are the Marlins, Braves, Cubs, and Cardinals.
I would like very much if the Mariners would get the AL Wild Card (with the Rangers winning the AL West) and the Astros would get the NL Wild Card (with the Cardinals winning the NL Central).
As for my predictions, I think the Red Sox will get the AL Wild Card (with the Yankees winning the AL East) and the Dodgers will get the NL Wild Card (with the Giants winning the NL West).
LOL @ the Mets wildcard chances. With what pitching?
NL I would say either the Marlins or Braves. Maybe the Dodgers, because I don't see them winning the NL West this year.
AL I'll take the Twins narrowly over the Rangers.

AL - Red Sox
That's a good question and also a good answer.
I would say you are correct on the AL side of it. The Angels play in a division that will allow them more wins than teams like Boston. On the NL side of things, I hate to say it, but I would think the Mets will pull it off. If they stay healthy all season, their lineup will be very competitive with the Phillies.
