2.Ten years ago,I decided to be a teacher, but now I thinke a model's job is more than exciting.
Which is correct?

Ten years ago, I decided to be a teacher, but now I think a model's job is more exciting.- This is correct in grammar. It is better to rewite it as following.

I decided /wanted to be a teacher ten year agom but I think to be a model is more exicting now.

Which is correct?

more than is to be used when comparing two items of things at the same time or

It is more expensive than I have thought.
It costs more than I have thought.

This film is more exciting than the previous one.
