How do you go? NYC to Georgetown University at DC?

There really isn't a direct way of going to Georgetown U., as not many buses service the university. And there is no Metro station near Georgetown U either.

Both Megabus and Bolt Bus will drop you off in a large parking lot near 10th and H streets NW. If you have a lot of luggage, you may wish to take a cab. If you walk to 11th Street NW (the opposite side from where you enter the parking lot on 9th Street), you can probably catch a cab pretty easily. DC now uses meters, but the cabs are not nearly as nice as NYC cabs. Still, they'll get you to where you need to go.

You can also catch the Circulator (http://www.dccirculator.com/DCCirculator.html#Georgetown-Union%20Station?latLng=(38.916747,%20-77.068686)&loc=Whitehaven%20St%20NW%20&%20Wisconsin%20Ave%20NW) on K Street and take that to the end point at Wisconsin and Whitehaven, not far from the campus.

Also check out www.wmata.com for more information. The NYC to DC buses drop you off one block north of the Metro Center station.

There is a bus called Vamoos (google it) that goes straight from NYC to Bethesda, MD (Bethesda is 5 minutes from DC) . it costs 25$ and it gets off at the metro station. From the station, you take the Red line from Bethesda Station to Dupont Circle. Once at Dupont Station, take the G2 bus (very close to the station) and it goes directly to Georgetown University.

Georgetown University is not a bus terminal. You have many choices on coming to Washington, DC. Once you get here, you will need to use the Metro rail and or Metro bus. URL below.
