Multiply -7(b-6) Can someone please help me?

-7(b - 6)
= -7(b) - (-7)(6)
= -7b - (-42)
= -7b + 42

- 7 b + 42

-7(b-6)
==> -7b + 42

Do you mean multiply out the bracket? If so you multiply everything outsode the bracket by everything inside the bracket which gives:

-7b+42

(Remembering that multiplying two negative numbers gives a positive number)

-7b+42 as far as I know.
