✔ 最佳答案
√(x + 2) = 6
x + 2 = 6^2
x = 36 - 2
x = 34
thus (x+2) is 36 --> 6 squared is 36
so x is 34

First you need to square both sides so you can get rid of the sqrt of x+2. So when you square 6 you get 36 (6x6=36). That means x+2=36. Then you subtract 2 from both sides and get x=34.

sqrt(x + 2) = 6. Square both sides of the equation.
[sqrt(x+2)]^2 = 6^2. Remember when you square terms within a square root symbol, you get the terms as the result.
x + 2 = 36. Subtract 2 from both sides.
x = 34. Answer

sqrt(X)=4
or
squirt x+2 at 6
sqrt(x+2)=6
Square both sides
x + 2 = 6^2
x+2 = 36
x = 36+2 = 38
OR do it this way
(x+2)^1/2 = 6
Raise both sides to the power of 2
[ (x+2)^1/2]^2 = 6^2
x + 2 = 36
x = 38
