A couple of times I have left my speedtouch modem on, when turning the machine off. It waits about 15 minutes and the machine turns itself on again. This didn't happen with my last modem!
How do I change settings so that if I leave the modem on, it doesn't automatically turn the machine on again?

uninstall and then reinstall with your installation disc.

Have a look in the computer bios for settings like "Wake on LAN", Wake on USB" and turn them off
