11 + 1 + 0.01 + 0.11 + 0.111
= 12 + 0.01 + 0.11 + 0.111
= 12.01 + 0.11 + 0.111
= 12.12 + 0.111
= 12.231

11 + 1 + 0.01 + 0.11 + 0.111 =
12.01 + 0.11 + 0.111 =
12.12 + 0.111 =
12.231.

I think you are doing binary arithmetic.

11 + 1 = 100
0.01 + 0.11 = 0.001
0.001 + 0.111 = 0.1101

So the answer is 100.1101
