英文文法問題 (中三)

1) also 是 adv. 去形容動詞v. 慣性在verb之後.
副詞:可形容verb,adj,adv.多數放在[ 後 ]. 形容整句多數放在[ 最前 ].



2) be 是此句的原動詞vi........can在此是助動詞aux.v..(can)作動詞是解:裝[食物]在罐內=入罐頭.
作名詞是解:罐頭.


3) 形容詞前不一定要be=is/ am / are / was / were/. 例如:A beautiful girl.

Q1 He said if Tom was also learning ice-skating.

為什麼不可以是
A1 . it's because the linking word "was" should always follow the name of a
person and this a a rule.

Q2. He said if Tom also was learning ice-skating.

道理跟 He is very good
He very is good
一樣嗎?
A2 Yes, and it will be strange if the word "is" and "very" and swap.

Q3 Quitting your job can be difficult.
為什麼用be 如果不用be 會錯嗎?
還是形容詞前一定要 is／ａｍ／ａｒｅ？
A3 yes, you are right, since "difficult" is an adjective, words like is／ａｍ／ａｒｅ should be added, or else "Quitting you job can difficult" <-- this is wrong.
* also, please note that since " can is a modal verb, (like must, should can etc.), when they are followed by adjectives, ver to be should be added. :)


or you can actually change" can... "to" is..". e.g quitting your job IS difficult, this is also acceptable
