李玲的答案有少許錯誤，修正如下：

Suddenly, an angel appeared in front of the rabbit. The angel said, “I will give you a magic stick which can change your past, but can’t help you to win any compeitions. Therefore, you must strive in order to win the race.” The rabbit said, ”oh! Thank you. I will win the race.” Finally, the rabbit won the race. It said to itself in its mind, “ if I had been arrogant, I would not have won the race.”


注：
原文的it think, 文法上不對。
事情已發生，所以用if I had been arrogant, I would not have won the race.”
未發生的事，才會說if I were arrogant, I would not win the race.

“It can change your past, but can’t help you to win the competition. Therefore you have to strive to win.”
“Oh thank you!” The rabbit replied. “I will make my best effort.”
Finally, the rabbit won the victory.
The rabbit soliloquized, “If I had been arrogant, I wouldn’t have won the race.”
