You need to have internship for 1 more year for becoming an psycologist.

Actually, I don't think the choice of secondary course will affect you for getting
such degree.

You can join more voluntary work, organize community function. You can
choose a group of people to focus on, for example youth or eldery.

This experience will affect you when you doing interview.

Of course, your social skills and personality will determine whether
you are appropriate for such degree and career or not.

You can try social worker first.
