看完名人教英文,查來去查去都不明這個...( butt )... ( 是一個屁股的笑話 ) 是否粗魯了一點..

笑柄,嘲弄對象
e.g. :The queer boy was the butt of their jokes.
解:那個古怪的男孩是他們開玩笑的對象。

更不用提這位「政治家」已是大家的笑柄吧！

這只是一種figurative speech。
