It is a little too much even if it is a letter to the exchange student.

I will skip some of the details of too much complexity and highlight only the key points. I hope the below serves you.

Dear Chan,

I am writing you to express my warmest welcome of your coming to live with us and study at the University of Hong Kong (HKU).

I am a kindergarten teacher working in Kowloon. And I am attending cources on pre-school education 2-3 evenings per week. So you may find me quite occupied during the week. However, my job has more time-offs like school holidays, in which we may spend time touring around as you will also having time off from your school, too.

My two brothers also attend HKU in Year 3 and Year 1, I am sure they can take care of your needs on campus. My dad is an accounting clerk and my mom is a homemaker who takes care of all of the domestic needs and feeds us well. I have made the arrangement for you to share a bed room with me.

Chan Greetings. I feel really excited about the fact that you will study in the University of Hong Kong . Our entire family welcomes you to stay in our house, everybody is looking forward to your arrival.

My family is a very traditional Christian one with harmony, everybody gets along very well. We live in the ShaTin District which is a private villa. For myself, I live in high stories buildings just like other people. We live on the 24th Floor. The area of our home is approximately 900 square feet and have three living rooms and two dining rooms.

My family members include my parents, two brothers, and myself. When you arrive, you can share the room with me if you don’t mind. I had already bought the daily necessities for you, so do not worry about it.

My Dad is a gentle and kind-hearted man, and he is an accounting clerk. He works in a large company which is located in the Central District. He goes to work at 8am and get home at around 7pm.

My Mom is a full-time housewife. She takes care of all the matters at home. She decorates the house in a tidy and perfect shape, so we call her by the nickname of “Super mother.” Haha, you can feel her superman power once you live in our house for a while.
My two younger brothers are currently studying in the University of Hong Kong . Since you guys study at the same school, you guys can take care of each other in time of need. They are a sophomore and 3rd in the University. The elder brother is majoring in Business Administration, and the little brother is studying medicine. So what are you majoring in?

As for me, I am a kindergarten teacher who works in the Kowloon. I work ten to twelve hours every day since I have a heavy workload. And I have to participate in the “children education seminar” twice or three times a week. Yet there is one good thing about this job – I have three or more long vacations, e.g. Christmas, Easter, and summer break etc. I think I can take you to enjoy the scenery in Hong Kong .

Chan,

How are you? I am glad to hear that you'll have your college education in HK. Every on in my family welcomes you to stay with us and we are looking forward to your arrival.

My family is a tradition Christian family in harmony. We live in Shatin in a private owned estate. Like most people in HK, we live in a high rise building. Our apartment is on the twenty-forth floor with an area of 900 square feet with three bedrooms, a living room and a dining room.

My family consists of my parents, my two younger brothers and me. If you don't mind, I can share my bedroom with you. I have bought you daily necessities so you don't have to worry about it.

My dad is a nice man and an accounting clerk working in Central. He usually leaves home for office around 8am and is back at around 7 in the evening.

My mom is a full time housewife. She takes care of all the houseworks and makes the house neat and clean. For this reason she gets the honour of being called "super mom". I believe after you've stayed with us for a while, you'll definitely feel her super power. The older one is in business management while the younger one in medical school. What is your major?

My two younger brothers are just like you: they both study in Hong Kong University. Thus all of you can take care of each other in school. They are in the third and the first year of college, respectively.

I am a kindergarten teacher working in Kowloon. I work ten to twelve hours a day so I am a bit busy. Moreover, I am taking a course of pre-school education in university 2 to 3 nights a week. Fortunately each year I have 3 to 4 long holidays, such as X'mas, Easter, and summer holidays. During my holidays, I can take you around to have a look at Hong Kong.

Hope the above information can help you to understand my family. My whole family is looking forward to your arrival and welcome you to become part of my family. Once you know your itinerary, please let us know as soon as possible so that we can meet you at the airport.
