how 2-Methoxyethanol is introduced into the environment?
As the commonly used as solvent,does it vapourize into the atmoshere,but there boiling point is 124degree Cel

2-Methoxyethanol
is mainly used as a solvent and a known toxin. Just like other
solvents, it will evaporate into the air when the solution drys off
and thus pollutes the environment. Even though 2-Mehtoxyethanol has
a high boiling point (124 C), it can also vaporize at room
temperature.
A
very obvious fact that 2-Methoxyethanol solution will dry off is due
to the fact that the solvent has been vaporized.

Note
that water has a boiling point of 100C but humidity is not zero at
room temperature. You can check out the phase diagram of water to
verify this.
