Surprisingly enough, goat hair brushes are very smooth and soft.
They are great quality, and propbably the best kind of animal hair to use for a makeup brush.
It's not coarse or scratchy at all.
I use a goat hair brush to apply liquid foundation and it works wonders.
It smooths and blends the foundation and overall, they work really well.
If it's a good price, I say get them.

Animal hair can usually cause reactions to the skin. The best thing to get on brushes, is Soft Nylon Bristles, or Natural Human Hair, as these two are softer and more palable to different makeups. Goats hair is suprisingly soft on brushes, but tend to fall out of the brush when cleaned as its very weak. The best animal hair? There isn't.
