I can't think of one Red Sox player that played with him who would want him back. Manny quit on his teammates in Boston before heading west. As far as those who got ditched by him, I'm sure they will never welcome him back.The fans of Boston should never want that to happen either. When Manny quit on the team he also quit on the fans. The Red Sox fans did not deserve that. They were always loyal to Manny even with all the crap he would pulled. The Red Sox can do better.

Dude, they had been trying to get rid of him for years. Now that they shipped him to the Dodgers and ate some serious money in exchange, the Red Sox will stay far away from him. Especially since the PED incident. I'd wonder more how long Big Papi will stay in Boston. One of my favorite players, but he is on the downside.

As much as I loved Manny when he was on the Red Sox the way he left and everything was just too rough for him to ever come back. Even if he begged to come back I'm pretty sure Theo Epstein would just tell him tough luck. He may be a great hitter but he screwed himself over and plus, I really don't think Manny would even want to come back although I'm pretty sure he doesn't even know what's going on in his head most of the time so who knows.

Other than Manny's obvious issues the Red Sox have made a habit of denigrating their former stars once they are no longer useful to the franchise....Roger, Pedro and Nomar were also called "cancers" as they were shown the door and faithful soldier Mike Lowell right now is basically being treated like an unwanted utility player.
