If 3x>-2y and y<0, then(x/y)=?

If 3x>-2y and y<0 , then (x/y) = ?
this is HKCEE 1989 math pastpaper,
but I cant find the answer from the solution

3x > -2y
x > -2y/3
x/y < -2/3 Has to change the direction of the inequality sign when both sides are divided / multiplied by a negative number (y)

Because y&lt;0, so y is a negative number.

3x &gt; -2y

x &gt; (-2/3)y

x/y &lt; -2/3 (Change the inequality sign because y is a negative number)
