English Qusetion. Pls help!

Corn, ice and salt are uncountable nouns. 玉米，冰和鹽 是 無數名詞。


a piece of corn , 2 pieces of corn
a piece of Ice , 2 pieces of ice
a bag of salt , 2 bags of saltcard is countable noun, so
one card, 2 cards

you can write it another way, make sure NO "s" is added to either corn, ice or salt.

2 boxes of corn
2 boxes of ice
2 boxes of salt

2 boxes of cards

yes. Ices(冰淇淋), corns(穀粒;胡椒籽) are countable nouns , so we can write it as

a box of ices.(冰淇淋)
a bag of corns(穀粒;胡椒的籽)
a number of corns(雞眼)

but NOT salts(鹽類)
salts means different kinds of salts.

it is correct to write it as:

2 boxes of smelling salts(嗅鹽;阿摩尼亞)

please confirm them with your teacher.

A B D 不應有 s，所以不能成為對的答案
剩下cards 文法上成立

此外，文意方面， A B D 一般不用box

B. corns 全部都係唔加s,但他又加s,所以錯。答案係C.cards
D. salts

a,b,d 都是不可數名詞

其實應該係"a stack of cards"先啱...

這是一個很差的題目，因為除了cards係正確英文外，其他都是錯(沒有)的英文字。

所以不用有條題目，
只看答案：
a) ices
b) corns
c) cards
d) salts
都只有c)是正確字，根本與box冇關。

設計條題目的老師或出版社得零分，咁低band點教出識英文既學生呀。

我查過yahoo字典全部名詞都有複數,部份是可數的.出題目那位老師應穫得平反.
