Reading English newspaper can certainly increase your vocabulary. It can help you expose to English more. LIstening to English songs can improve your listening ability which in turn makes you study easier. (You) Do more grammar exercises and your writing skill will be improved. These help you learn the fundamentals of English.

Vocabulary is not an ability, no need to use the word ability. Usually we say increase your vocabulary.
We also say "to expose to a language", verb after help/make has to be "bare infinitive", i.e. basic verb without "to".
Listening is an ability, so it is better to use listening ability instead of just listening. It seems incomplete. You may also use your own word "practise" - Listening to English songs can practise your listening ability. But I prefer to use the work "improve".
Comfortable is not a good choice of word. The word describes one's feeling instead of the degree of difficulty/ease.
(You) - is omitted as this is an imperative.
