If you going to the Roosevelt Avenue-Jackson Heights subway station on the #7, "E", "F", "R" or "V" lines (Purple, Blue, Orange and Yellow Line on the subway map), you will need to take either the Q33 bus from the Main Terminal or the Q47 bus to the 74th Street/Roosevelt Avenue subway station.

If you're going to the Astoria Blvd subway station on the "N" or "W" lines (Yellow Line), you will need to take the M60 bus from either the Main Terminal or the Marine Air Terminal to Astoria Blvd.

The fare on the bus is $2.25 and the transfer on the subway is free with a regular (pay per ride) MetroCard, which can be purchase at any Hudson Newsstand at the airport.

I hope this information is very helpful.

Good luck

My favorite website is www.hopstop.com It gives you door to door information on how to get anywhere in the city, from anywhere in the city.

Once you are in NYC, you can also call 311 to get subway and bus directions 24 hours a day.

Hope this helps!
