A helicopter, with a load of supplies hanging from a rope, circles a lighthouse
to deliver them. The load weighs 80 kg and is on a circular path of radius 10m
at 15ms^-1 . By considering the tension of the rope and the centripetal force
needed, establish the angle of the rope to the horizontal.

Let T be the tension in the rope,
hence T.sin(a) = 80g
where a is the angle at which the rope makes with the horizontal
and, T.cos(a) = 80 x 15^2/10

dividing: tan(a) = 10g/15^2
a = 24 degrees
