Given that g(x)=2x^49 +1 ,find the remainder whena) g(x) is divided by x+1
By remainder theorem,
Remainder = g(-1)
=2(-1)^49 + 1
= -2+1
= -1
b) g(x+1) is divided by x+2
By remainder theorem,
Remainder = g(-2+1)
= 2(-2+1)^49 + 1
= 2(-1)^49 + 1
= -1 (from (a))
