Prove that either the row vectors or the colume vectors of a non-square matrix are linearly dependent

Without lss of generality, assume the the matrix A is a m by n matrix where m > n. Then there are m row vectors where each vector is of dimension n. Since the number of vectors is larger than the size of dimension, it implies that the row vectors are linearly dependent. Similar for the case when n > m
