just recieved tax dept ask me to give back the extra parent tax exception yesterday. they said i married 3 year before and my/my wife parents should not be live together (each with 60K tax free)
Anyone have similar situation before?
what should i do?
will they penalty me for this things?

請盡快找專做稅務調查的會計師!你有無同你father & mother住係一個好明顯既事實, 有官司反映個是刻意逃稅而需要入獄。
希望你唔好係下一個比 ird用來做sample, 登新聞報來警告就trouble...
你可搵經濟日報, 有d專做investigation的專家, 罰款就多數會罰, 但最緊要唔好比佢起訴係最緊要!

Please note that there are penalty provisions in the Inland Revenue Ordinance s80, 82A. The question therefore is one of negligence or fraud, of which the penalty can be significantly different. As I am not aware of the process of negotiation, the truth is of utmost importance.
