Will Volvo become a bad car company after it is purchased by Geely?

Hard to answer, because we are not privy to what Geely's plans are for the future of Volvo. They will most likely keep it intact because the Volvo brand has some cliche in China. With China's track record and scandal's like the melamine baby formula (which was covered up twice by the Chinese government), toy lead scandal, and recent cadmium jewerly scandal, I would not trust Chinese products or intentions. When Geely takes over Volvo, a lot of manufacturing of parts and complete Volvo's will probably shift to China; and who's to say in the future if there is a serious design flaw in a product that they would be willing to quickly issue a voluntary recall or would they try to bury it as long as they can (hoping it will go away), as is the current customary practice in business in China.

Who knows? No one here has had a chance to sit in on the yet to be held meetings between Volvo people and Geely people.

that's so stressful, each so often I in basic terms decide to maintain my old motor vehicle. We went to examine vehicles. the administrative agreed to take down the value. nicely, via the time he finished including tax and all the different stuff, the value become around $50 decrease than the unique. the $2000 become back! The next 10 years in China is gonna be very interesting because I don't think their infrastructure will be able to sustain what's happening now and in the near future. I think could very well see Volvo come back to Western ownership eventually.

We will find out! Ford who purchased Volvo in 1999 destroyed the Volvo brand and reliability. So at least there is hope for Geely to improve where Ford screwed up!
