The streak started in 1995, so it was 13 consecutive years in the playoffs, with 3 wild cards and 10 division titles in that time. Also they had 7 ALCS appearances, 6 pennants and 4 WS titles in that time. If it wasn't for the strike in 1994, it likely would have been 14 consecutive years in the playoffs.

Before 2008, the last official season they did not make the playoffs was 1993. 1994 was the strike season, however the Yankees were in 1st place and had the best record in the AL. So good chances they would've made the playoffs then.
