就以salivary amylase為例
佢到底係直接hydrolyses starch to maltose..
定係catalytes the hydrolysis of starch to maltose?

同埋hydrolysis即係將舊substrate加水分解?
有左enzyme既幫助個action就會快d 係咪咁解= =?

另一個例子: ATP---&gt; ADP + Pi，呢個hydrolysis又係要ATPase幫手..

Definition: Enzymes can be defined as biological catalyst that speed up reactions.定義：酶可定義為促進生化作用的生物催化劑。

Enzymes are not destroyed by the reactions they catalyse and so can be used again. 酶不會用掉，亦不會被化學作用破壞，它可重複使用。
所以salivary amylase can catalyse the hydrolysis of starch to maltose.才對
