Thanks for all the help on the other problem. Now this one is a little different. Please help.
更新1:

Also could you explain how to do x divided by -2 + 3 = 13. Because now its addition. Thanks!

not hard:
If you mean
n/2 - 5 = 15, then n/2 = 15+5 and n = 2(15+5)= 40

Or, if you mean
n/(2-5) = 15, then n/-3 = 15 and n=-3(15) = -45

Interesting stuff for a Saturday night.

n/2 - 5 = 15

==> n/2 = 20

==> n = 40

n/2 -5 =15

n/2 = 20

n=20X2

N=40

n / 2 = 20

n = 40
2010-01-10 7:52 am
n/2 - 5 = 15
n/2 = 15 + 5
n = 2(20)
n = 40

Giiiiirrrrllll....Its a cheesy question....

n/2-5=15

n/2=15+5

n=20x2

=40.

Same as:
n divided by 2 = 15 + 5 (negative number changes to positive when moved to the other side of the equal sign)
so... n divided by 2 = 20
n = 20 x 2 ("divide by" changes to "multiply by" when moved to the other side of the equal sign)
n=40

Check it out:
40 divided by 2, minus 5 = 15
2010-01-10 7:48 am
n=40
2010-01-10 7:47 am
n = 40
2010-01-10 7:44 am
n/(2- 5) = 15

n/(-3) = 15 now multiply both sides by -3 to get

n = -45

(sorry if I read it wrong then the people above me are right)
