Pronounciation question, please help?

When you pronounce "X", by itself and in words, do you normally pronounce it as
"eggs" or "eggks"
Like X, eXercise, eXcuse me, deluX

Are both acceptable? Are they both commonly used?
It seems that "eggKs" is the standard pronounciation, but I found it unnature to say it like that every time. I want to know how people normally say it, thanks a lot!
