I am F2 now, but since I need to make a model about science and submit it with a written report. I have made a bicycle which can generate electricity.(a dynamo linked to the pedal). But in order to explain the principle of dynamo, I think if I can write something about it, it would be much better. I only know there is coil and magnet inside the dynamo, can someonebriefly explain it to me?

PS: english plz

thank you

I suggest amending the paragraph as follows:

A dynamo consists of a rotating magnet at its centre and a satationary coil surrounding the magnet. When the magnet is rotated by an external mechanical force, e.g. by applying a torque to the bicycle pedals, the magnetic field associated with the magnet will also rotate with the magnet accordingly. The rotating magnetic field lines then cut across the stationary coil. This leads to a change of magnetic flux on the coil. As a result, electromagentic induction occurs and induced current starts to flow on the coil. Such physical process of electromagentic induction can be explained by Faraday's Law.

electromagnetic means generate magnetic field by electric current and vice versa. when a magnetic field cut across a conductor, electric current flows through the condctor, meanwhile if electric current passes through a conductor, magnetic field can generated around the conductor. in chinese:電生磁,磁亦可生電,此謂之電磁效應。
