4x = 1/8

Then x = (1/8)/4

==> x = 1/32

1/8/4=1/8*1/4=1/32=0.03125

you can divide a fraction by a number by multiplying it with its reciprocal, cheers

Don't listen to people who decrease from your ambitions or your hope... If you don't understand something, just go on and ask... No body is perfect...

Divide each side by 4 to get the x alone...

x = (1/8) / 4

Then you need to multiply the 8 by 4 and keep them in the denominator..

so,

x = 1/32...
