The legendary super cook Stephen Chow, whose obnoxious arrogance and obsession with commercial success cost him his career, ends up in an obscure life after falling prey to a friend's ploy to ruin him. Chow, now a pauper, suffers hard beating from a gang after he attempts to dine and dash at the noodle stall of Turkey, a woman who turns out to be a huge fan of him. Turkey provides refuge for Chow on the Temple Street, from where Chow stages a comback through the innovative creation of a new recipe known as "piss beef ball".
