Question about Wii

I have this kind of old TV , the brand is "Sanyo". If I buy the Wii, can I play with this kind of TV and do I need to buy some other cord to connect to this kind of old TV.
Also, I heard someone said that I need to have a LCD screen TV in order to play Wii, is that true???

Actually, Wii ONLY support standard definition. The TV you are using is fine with Wii.Wii's standard package comes with a red-yellow-white cord that connects to any standard TV. If you want a better TV quality, you could buy component cable for Wii. As for the S.C.A.R.T., only a PAL region Wii can have S.C.A.R.T. capability.
You don't need an LCD TV to use WII!
In fact, if you are using an LCD TV, you are still gett what you are using right now with your current TV.
