請問 rest of world 的意思?

應該少了the喔! 通常英文說the rest of the world.是指：世界其他的地方......。
通常用the rest of the world前面，會先說一個區域，然後再說其他地方......。

如：The U.S. didn't sign the Kyoto Protocol and the rest of the world were angry about it. (美國沒有簽署京都議定書，其他國家對此非常憤怒)

或如：The developed countries lead a wasteful life, but the rest of the world suffers from the hunger. 已開發國家過著奢侈浪費的生活，但其餘的國家還在面對飢餓的議題。

就是 對世界其他各國而言，他成了一位有名的體育明星。

這句前面應該會先提一個地方(可能是他的母國)，然後這句才說他在世界其他各地成了體育明星。
