Will this be the year the COWBOYS end the playoff drought?

My fellow Cowboy fans the playoffs are going to be very interesting this season. Dallas is getting hot at the right time and looking like a threat to beat anyone they play. Seriously, they may not have the best record but they are finally playing as a TEAM. The defense is playing very well especially the front line. But most importantly Romo is playing good and with alot of confidence. They have a challenge this sunday by playing the eagles for the NFC east title. This will show what they're made of and if they are contenders or pretenders. I honestly think they have what it takes to make a deep playoff run. Along with the packers, eagles, and the cardinals. But anyways what do you guys think? Do ya'll think they can finally live up to their potential and make some noise in the playoffs?

@steven 2 steven. So by your logic, how a team plays in the PAST means that's how they'll play in the present? Lol. If thats the case then any team thats ever been under .500 should just give up now and never come back for another season.

Division games are always tough, no matter what team is playing. They only put up 6 points on dallas all year. That's a lot less than they put up on the eagles. Just sayin. Lol

I hope so. Sunday will be another good pre-playoff test. The Cowboys have said the playoffs, for them, started in New Orleans a couple weeks ago because of the position they were in.

Here's the reasons I feel good about Dallas' postseason chances:

-Romo has limited his turnovers. Just eight picks this season.

-The defense has given up 21 or fewer points in 13 of 15 games.

-Dallas is getting hot in December; not limping into the playoffs.

-They are relatively healthy; and right tackle Marc Colombo will be back for the playoff game.

-They are a TEAM; not the bickering; dysfunctional group they were last year.

The Cowboys are going to play the Wild-Card playoff in January of 2010, but if the Cowboys lose the Wild-Card playoff, then the season will be over soon.

I have a good feeling about this year, but u never know. Id rather play any team besides the eagles in the playoffs

Romo is playing better than any QB in the NFC right now. Our defense is playing better than any defense in the NFC.

we need to solve our short yardage troubles tho and we need to stop wasting redzone opportunities

the cowboys problem is that their coach is a heartless worm and thats y our team plays with no heart

Well, oklahoma won their bowl so i guess anythings possible. The only real threat seems to be the eagles, especially since it looks like we'll play them two weeks in a row. I dont see any other team that could beat them on the nfc side. Now, the chargers in the super bowl is the scary matchup.

With the emergence of Miles Austin and a stout defense, I think they are contenders. IF they find a way to win one playoff game watch out..Tony Romo is finally looking the the QB he is paid to be.

Cowboys I know they can do if they have a 14-0 start in the 1st and 2nd quarter you there going to win.

Probably not. Just two wins in December, and they were against the Redskins (who suck) and the Saints (who are obviously on their way out after a loss to the Buccaneers). You're calling that hot? The Cowboys haven't won a January game since 1999. Why should 2010 be any different?

no, they lose first game. They don't deserve to be in the playoffs. Giants or Falcons deserve it more.

NO Dallas will lose again starting Sunday vs the Eagles so It will continue.
