strontium is atomic number 38, in the same group with magnesium, beryllium and barium. Barium is not 18, it's 56. There's no such thing as Trium. Yttrium is in the metal group, with different properties. Properties of elements in a single column of the table are usually more similar to each other than properties of elements from different columns.
