Technically you are still Catholic, just not in communion. It's your parent's responsibility to make sure you attend, so in effect -- they are the ones sinning. It's your responsibility to keep the Sacraments at Confirmation. If you are not being Confirmed, don't worry about it -- but remember that the door is always open when you want to come "home".

Technically, you are a member of the catholic Church when you were baptized.

You are still a Catholic, but I'm betting you don't know the faith. I'd recommend studying the faith you belong to before deciding you don't want to be one.

Or do you have some specific reason to not want to be one?

Yes, you're Catholic. Just, apparently, a terribly uneducated Catholic. Your parents are responsible for teaching you to understand and practice the Catholic faith, and they apparently are failing to do so.

Yes, you're still a Catholic. Even if you got yourself excommunicated, you would still be a member of the church. Baptism leaves an indelible spiritual mark.

The catholics pray to the dead because their religion is one of works and paganism. They use their teachings from the catholic church over the truths from the scriptures. The model prayer Jesus gave us prays to God only. Nowhere in the scriptures does Jesus allow us to pray to anyone other than Him The catholics believe mary is working with God as a god helping Him because His powers are limited. They believe God does not have the power to hear everyone prayers at once and only mary has the power to hear all the prayers at once. The catholics believe mary is more powerful than God himself because He needs mary's help.

Someone might consider you a Catholic but if you say you don't want to be one then you're not.

You are what you want to be. You may have been baptized, etc, but it doesn't mean you have to stay Catholic for the rest of your life. If you want to be something else, be something else. That's the beauty of spirituality. It's a personal choice that no one else can make for you.
