A. Express,in term of x,the amount of money Natalie had spent on sweets.

Given that the price of each sweet is $2.
so, the amount of money spent on sweets = $2 * (7x)/4 = $(7x)/2

B. Find the value of x.

(18x - 400) - (7x)/2 = 6
18x - (7x)/2 = 406
(36x)/2 - (7x)/2 = 406
(29x)/2 = 406
29x = 812
x = 28

C. How much money did Natalie originally have?

It is found that x=28,
so the amount of money Natalie originally have
= $(18*28-400)
= $(504 - 400)
= $104

A. The amount of money Natalie had spent on sweets = ($2)(7x/4) = $7x/2
B. (18x - 400) - 7x/2 = 6
14.5x = 406
x = 28
