James Coburn??????????????????

I would say the Nebraska born James Coburn was famous/successful about an 8 out of 10.

While he appeared in so many movies, I remember him most for THE GREAT ESCAPE which was my favorite, followed by OUR MAN FLINT, and then the MAGNIFICENT SEVEN. Besides everything else, James Coburn had a very distinctive, commanding voice which I believe leant itself for being voice-overs in commericals.

I enjoyed him as an actor until his death at age 74.
