Is carbon a metal or non-metal? What is the gender(state of matter at room temperature) of carbon? What is the personality(emotions: boiling point and melting point) of carbon? 如過找都reference,post上去都得。

Carbon is clearly a non-metal. It exists in solid state at room temperature. The melting point of carbon is 3500'C and boiling point is 4827'C.See the following web-page for reference
