How to use the euro pass ?

i will go to euro travel on february around 24 days but i don*t know how to use the euro pass efficiently..i will go to holland ,germany, france, swsis and itay..however, i m not understand that where district i need to pay the extra fee for taking the high speed train or from koeln to frankfrut where i also need to pay the fare for taking he ice if im holding the euro pass..lots of problem i m meetng....who can teach me how to use he euro pass in the most efficiency.i think that a country move to a country..just llke that using method is most valuable ..for example, from paris to italy ..besides, i also will buy a swsis pass for 4 days for geting the 50 % off if i will taking the train which go to the mountain ofthe peak..should i buy it? actually,euro pass also hav ethe same benefits relatived to the swsis pass? can i take he train in swsis by holding the euro pass?plz help me to solve my problems..

First of all, I don't understand your questions clearly. But I will try my best to help you. Did you get your Train Pass? If not, that's good, please make sure your needs before buying any travel pass.Eurail pass is a discount tickets that allows holder to travel freely within the selected zone within certain numbers of day (according to the tickets). For example, if you buy a Eurail Pass for 5 countries, 10 days. You can use nearly all the railway service in the selected countries in any 10 days within 2 months.
Eurail Pass is not valid for international trains (e.g. Paris to Rome) only, buty also domestics trains (e.g. Paris to Nice, or Rome to Venice)
The first thing you need to do, list out all the train journey, from which city to which city, counting how many days that you will travel on train. If you plan to buy a Swiss Pass, then you can simply forget the train journey in Switerzland and get a Eurail Pass for 4 countries.
The benefits of Eurail Pass and Swiss Pass is not the same. You can go to their website to have look on their further informartion.
