美國community college一問

All community colleges are the same.

You can get a good performance or not depends on a lot, such as the choice of faculties, your studying style, even your classmates can affect you in some cases. So it will be inconclusive for you to say Tacoma is a difficult one.

The choice of the college should depend on where you want to live and where do you want to transfer (if you want to go to University of California, why bother studying in Washington).

No TOEFL requirement means you are in a English program (language school). So the school can use your performance in the language school to leverage your admission. (It will take longer time and money.)

My suggestion, take the TOEFL anyway. Somehow, you never know where you are.

Seattle 好像有OK多中國人
如果真的很想少中國人去一些小洲 (Kentucky, Indiana.....)
那裡真的少很多亞洲人....

TOEFL是一定要考,
SAT也可以試試看, 入大學一定要考SAT的
英文班我們叫ELL CLASS,
我校差不多所有外來生也要上的,
那班多數也是容易一點,
是一個精讀英語學習班
老實說, 我認識的HK英文老師英文水平也不是很好的
我剛來US時, 可以說是完全聽不懂老師說什麼
他們又說得很快....
上ELL, 那個老師是一個中轉站, 可以讓你習慣一下

我孤陋寡聞，未聽過可以唔考 TOEFL 就有學校收（中學除外）。讀書其實最主要係睇自己有無心機。如果 Tacoma 真係難攞高 GPA，即係話佢水準高！
