I would consider it very unlikely. Manny wore out his welcome in Boston - though he is one of the best hitters in the game, he's a pain in the A. Epstein would happily trade a reduction in offense for the cost savings and a reduction in having to deal with him.

B. Manny is never returning to the Red Sox as a member of the team. I mean they were even considering trying to get Miguel Cabrera but because he's a distraction off the field they decided against it. They've definitely learned their lesson after having people like that who cause drama.
